What type of properties/projects do you work on?
We are delighted to provide our master decorating and other services for a full range of properties and projects, including:
- Commercial clients and domestic clients
- Traditional/period through to modern-style properties
(from Tudor to ultra-modern) - Houses, apartments, stately homes, churches, offices, restaurants, bars, hotels
- One room through to complete renovation projects
- Ongoing maintenance plans

What geographical area do you cover?
We are based in Cheltenham and so most of our clients are located in Gloucestershire and across the Cotswolds, but we do regularly work for clients further afield. Please get in touch to find out more.
Do you have experience working with other partners and trades?
Yes. We regularly work on projects directly alongside project managers, interior designers, architects, builders, plasterers, electricians and more. We understand projects need to follow a set structure and are happy to be flexible, but also experienced enough to advise how we can provide the best possible results.
When projects require written plans, risk assessments or any other documentation, we are very happy provide whatever is required.
How do you charge for your services?
We quote on a per-room or per-project basis, rather than on a day rate, so clients don't have to worry about estimated costs significantly increasing.
Can you offer advice on paints?
Yes. We have significant experience using paints from specialist suppliers such as Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Mylands and Zinsser to mainstream suppliers including Dulux and Crown. We would be delighted to advise on what paints should and shouldn't be used in any given setting.
What is and isn't included in your quotes?
Your quote will include our labour, use of our specialist sanding and spraying machines, fillers, use of brushes and rollers. Unless otherwise specified, the only additional cost will be your chosen paints.
How many of your team members will be working on my project?
Depending on your needs, anywhere from one to four members of the team will be working on your project at once.
Can you provide a recent client reference?
Of course. We would be delighted to provide a suitable client reference on request.
How can you help minimise disruption?
While having work undertaken to your property will inevitably involve some level of disruption, the Barrington team prides themselves on being clean, tidy and organised from start to finish. Whether it's your family home or a business premises, we'll do our very best to minimise disruption for you.
